The government has obviously failed this part of the test, if this is the government solution to the “infectious waste” problem. So, why should we give the government control of any other part of the health care industry?
For those who constantly claim World Net Daily is so biased that it isn’t a good source for news or information, I would suggest that you not read the article and just go on believing that the nanny government knows what’s best for you.http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.vie…

The problem with your statement is that the government wasn’t the one in charge of this. The ones in charge were the hospitals and doctors offices.
Nothing in the article even mentions government oversight, if anything the article highlights the need for the government to get involved.
Bimmer – I have no need to drink kool-aid but perhaps you should seek the assistance of a teacher because you clearly lack the ability to read the articles that are posted.
Well, look at Medicare and Medicaid. Many doctors will not even accept them, especially Medicaid. You can’t get the doctor you want. The doctor can’t get a fair fee. It’s sad.
State employee medical “insurance” is often just the same.
If you stop to consider that Obama’s health care reform is SUPPOSED to make it more affordable for the poor, much like Clinton’s making housing “more affordable” for the poor you will get your answer in VERY short order. From where did all of those “Toxic” mortgages come that dragged Lehman Bro.s over the edge? After Lehman Bro.s came Merrill Lynch and had the government (read: Obama and Pelosi) not forced the illegal buy out of M-L by BofA, Wells Fargo would have been next. It took almost 15 years for the housing and banking bubble to burst, but it most surely did. How long do you suppose it will take the Insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies and hospitals to do the same?
Our government was established only for the sake of organization, not to run the economy, not the environment, not the railroads, not the auto industry, and not health care. What we the people yield up to the government to run only takes us further from the freedoms we were granted and delivers us to gradually tightening shackles.
So what you are saying is that we need to fix our current health care system.
This article has nothing to do with helping the millions of people who can’t even have their medical waste disposed of improperly because they can’t get health care in the first place.
Main point of the article: “The Environmental Protection Agency mandated strict guidelines for incinerators after concerns about air pollution, forcing most hospitals to hire outside personnel to haul medical waste away.”
Which translates to private hospital administrators not behaving appropriately in a private system.
of course it has. it has corrupted and bankrupt the medicare system and now medicaid. the government cannot be trusted in a place it has no business being in.
