Coordinated by the Città delle Langhe, the Optimisation of Resource use and Waste Management in an Eco Industrial Park (ORMA) project created a simulation of an eco-industrial park in an area with low industrial development, based on Material Flow Analysis, Life Cycle Analysis and statistical entropy analysis. An innovative waste treatment plant was integrated in the simulation to optimise and control flows of materials, energy and waste.
